Climber Line - PRW-50YAE-2This new model with a replacement carabiner attachment, is the latest addition to the PRW-50 Series from PRO TREK, the outdoor watch for serious outdoor adventurers.
In order to allow ease of movement and simple operation for the PRO TREK Climber Line, models have been dramatically reduced in size. To improve readability, the hours on the face of the PRW-50 are indicated by Arabic numerals that are impressed into a metal sheet, and a matte finish face suppresses glare.
The outer surface of the hefty bezel is shaped to resemble a gear, which gives the design a wild and mechanical taste. The mode hand, second hand, and crown are accented with orange coloring for a distinctively outdoor look.
The PRW-50YAE model comes with a carabiner attachment that can be affixed in place of the band, allowing the watch to be hung from a backpack, harness, etc. This means you can have access to the current time and altitude while using both hands for climbing or performing other tasks.
The main Dura Soft wrist band is made using soft silicon resin, which is highly resistant to low temperatures and strong enough to stand up to use under severe outdoor conditions. The band also provides a comfortable fit to the wrist.
The powerful solar power system of this watch provides a stable supply of power for MULTIBAND 6 that automatically adjusts time settings based on reception of one of six time calibration signals around the globe, and for Triple Sensor Version 3 practicality for measuring your bearing, barometric pressure, temperature, and altitude.
