These new models deliver some of the highest levels of water resistnace in the PROTREK lineup, making them the perfect choice for extreme water environments. In addition to direction, barometric pressure and altitude, and temperature sensors, these models also include new moon phase and Tide Graph functions, as well as a timer for use during yacht races.
This means that these models come in handy for all types of outdoor activities from mountain climbing to sailing the sea. The surfaces of the large, one-push metal buttons are knurled for easy operation, and finished with gray ion plating for a hefty and durable feel.
The peripheries of the buttons are surrounded by urethane button guards to protect against operation error. These new models offer a choice between a resin band, which is attached to the case with large screws for plenty of strength, and a lightweight pure titanium metal band that resists rust.
