Adventure Racing World Series
The Adventure Racing World Series consists of races in different countries around the globe, making it a true adventrue race. Top professional teams from around the world tackle seas, mountains jugles, deserts, glaciers, and more, relying only upon a course map and compass.  For each race, four-member teams made up of men and women use trekking, mountain biking, padding, climbing, and other skills to cover a 200 to 300- kilometer course over a period of seven to ten days. Races are total challenges to the intelligences, physical strength, and spirit of the participants. During 2007, Series races are scheduled to be held in Australia, Poland, Spain, Sotland, South Africa, Sweden, Brazil, New Zealand, Portugal, and France.
