A band made of a combination of leather and nylon creates a look and feel perfect for outdoor wear.
High-strength fluorocarbon lines are inserted into the periphery of the band for enhanced durability.
A wide type band loop that secures the end of the band firmly in place is imprinted with the PROTREK logo.

These two new PROTREK models are the official watches of the AR WORLD SERIES, the world's most famous adventure race.
Available in the navy and green colors of the race's logo or in orange, these new models feature a combination leather and nylon band that looks as good as it feels on the wrist.

Adventure Racing World Series
The Adventure Racing World Series consists of races in different countries around the globe, making it a true adventure race. Top professional teams from around the world tackle seas, mountains jugles, deserts, glaciers, and more, relying only upon a course map and compass. For each race, four-member teams made up of men and women use trekking, mountain biking, padding, climbing, and other skills to cover a 200 to 300- kilometer course over a period of seven to ten days. Races are total challenges to the intelligences, physical strength, and spirit of the participants.
During 2008, Series races are scheduled to be held in Poland, Spain, Mexico, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Sweden, Brazil, Australia, and Portugal.
