Voice Recording

Simply select the Best Shot scene that resembles the type of image you
want to record and Best Shot automatically configures the required camera
settings. An original noise reduction process produces clearer night scene images.
7-point Multi-AF simplifies focusing
7-point Multi AF means you never need to worry about focusing again. The
camera automatically selects one of seven focus points, based on which
one is aligned with the nearest subject, and focuses on that point. This
helps to avoid loss of foreground subjects, and minimizes the chance of
images being out of focus.
Macro Mode
The Macro Mode of the EX-Z4 lets you move in to distances ranging
from 50 cm to as close as 6 cm for really intimate close ups of
everything from portraits to flowers, pets, food, and more. The Macro
Mode also supports zooming in the range of 1X to 1.8X.
Calendar Screen usable as a photo diary
Placing the camera onto its cradle and pressing the [PHOTO] button starts
an automatic slideshow of recorded images. Any audio recorded with movies
and audio snapshots, as well as Voice Recorder audio is also played
automatically through the camera's built-in speaker.

The Calendar screen shows a full month of thumbnails of the first image
recorded on each date. Selecting an image displays its full-size version
on the monitor screen, from which you can scroll to the image you want.
All of this makes finding a particular image quick and easy.

Simply place the camera onto the cradle and press the USB button to
automatically transfer images from the camera to your computer. Once
transferred, you can view the date an image was recorded plus a wealth
of other information about each image.
