The 10.1-megapixel EX-Z1000 makes it
possible for you to capture every detail of those
special moments as they occur. A high-performance EXILIM Engine image
processing module combines with a 1/1.8-inch CCD with a
larger sensitive area than previous compact cameras for
amazing image quality that captures all the delicate
nuances of the subject. All in a stylish and compact
design that has becomes the signature of the entire
EXILIM lineup.
Wide, high-brightness 2.8" monitor screen (14:9
aspect ratio) really brings displayed images to life. The
high-definition 230,400-pixel liquid crystal brings out all
the details of both images and text.
A stripe array LCD makes text clearer for easier
reading of document images.

A wider monitor screen area makes it
possible to centralize REC mode indicators along the
right side of the display. This provides a better view
of the image and even helps to simplify camera
setups.
The backlight of the monitor screen provides a
brightness level of 1200 cm/m2*1
for easy viewing, even in bright outdoors. The camera can be
configured to adjust screen brightness automatically in accordance
with available light, or you can select one of four fixed brightness
levels. *1 Approximate average brightness level

The 10-megapixel CCD and EXILIM Engine combination
enables Non-deterioration zoom, which provides high quality images
that are on par with optical zoom. Non-deterioration zoom extracts
the required portion of the largest size available for the recorded
image, which results in close ups that do not suffer from the
deterioration normally associated with digital zoom. *2 For image size setting from 5 megapixels to

The EXILIM Engine and Super Life Battery team up to
enable recording of 360 images* (CIPA
Standard) on a single charge. Or you can enjoy 13 hours of
continuous playback of images on the camera. *

The Anti Shake DSP (Digital Signal Processor) of the
EXILIM Engine enables higher sensitivity and shutter speeds, which
minimizes the effects of hand and subject movement, even when
available light is dim.
Normal
Mode Shooting where lighting is dim without
flash produces a blurry image.
Anti Shake
Mode A fast shutter speed eliminates image
blur.
