No deterioration zoom reduces image deterioration in a zoom range from 4.3X to 17.1X
No deterioration zoom takes full advantage of the capabilities of the EX-Z1000's 10-megapixel CCD and the EXILIM Engine. By enlarging a special portion of a large image, it produces images with zero reduction in image quality. When recording with 5-megapixel, for example, the equivalent of about 4.3x optical zoom can be obtained.
