From the G-SHOCK lineup of watches renowned for toughness and ruggedness comes new model with a new type of band that is more durable than ever before. The band is made of resin embedded with high tensile endurance carbon fiber for enhanced resistance to cutting or breaking. This fiber-embedded resin is used not only for the main part of the band, but also around the spring bar and buckle, for the band ring, and for other parts, which gives the overall band greater durability. The back cover of the watch, the side buttons, the buckle, and other metal parts are made of titanium alloy. The back cover is forged for the ultimate in shock resistance and durability.
The transparent resin of the band surface provides a view of the carbon fibers embedded inside. The shiny finish of the resin highlights the black color for an overall sharp appearance. these new models combine a design that is the same as the 5600 model, which was the first G-SHOCK, with the latest in current technology to take timekeeping durability to a new level.
