These new models are from the G-SHOCK G-LIDE sports line, which has become a favorite choice of the world’s top surfers. The GBX-100TT features phone linking and colors inspired by surfing and time travel between the present and past.
The present is represented with color and the past with monochrome, creating the image of a surfing trip between the present and the past.
An app running on a smartphone can be used for quick and easy access to surfer-essential tide information and sunrise and sunset times at approximately 3,300 locations worldwide. The wide face and a high-definition MIP (Memory In Pixel) LCD improves display readability of standard functions like Tide Graph, Moon Data display, high tide and low tide times, and sunrise and sunset times. This provides important information about current conditions at a glance.
This, combined with a collection of training measurement functions (distance, speed, pace, lap, pitch), provides plenty of support for surfers who meet new global challenges.
The bezel is composed of a combination of resin and metal. The top of the bezel has a stainless steel cover with a hairline and honing finish that creates a look of elegant toughness. A resin guard structure that protects against impact from any direction combines with a button guard at 6 o'clock, which delivers outstanding G-SHOCK protection. The soft urethane band at 6 o'clock has slits to allow the draining of water and sweat for improved comfort.
