G Presents Lover's collection for
1997 is for lovers who are happy now and look forward to even
more happiness in the future. G-SHOCK and BABY-G models are
sold only as two-watch set, each with a simple, basic white
design.
The three stories for this year are Devil (G-SHOCK) and Angle
(BABY-G), Pegasus (G-SHOCK) and the Unicorn (BABY-G), and Dragon
(G-SHOCK) and Witch (Baby-G). Any time the EL backlight of either
watch is turned on, the character for the partner watch floats
above the display.
The messages these watches suggest is, "My lover will be
with me forever." |

| Angel and Devil |
Long ago Adam and Eve were driven from
the Garden of Eden for partaking of the Forbidden Fruit.
They were tempted to eat the fruit by Lucifer, once one
of the most beloved angles who betrayed God and was cast
into Hell to become the Devil. It is said that Adam and
Eve were driven from Eden by the angle Michael, another
one of God's favourites.
Michael and Lucifer - both were once powerful angles who
were among God's favourites. |

| Pegasus and the
unicorn |
| Pegasus and the unicorn are perfect
pair. According to Greek mythology, the pure white, winged
Pegasus was ridden into battle by the hero Bellerophon
on a number of occasions. Pegasus is the symbol of immortality.
The Unicorn, with its distinctive single horn in the center
of its head, is able only to be seen by a master who possesses
a pure and honest heart. It is said that the Unicorn is
an animal that brings everlasting happiness. |

| The Witch and the
Dragon |
| Through the wings, claws, and fiery
breath of the dragon make it a powerful symbol of evil,
many stories also portray it as the protector of treasures
and women. In the same way, the evil image of the witch
flying around on her broom casting spells on innocent
people is also balanced by Middle Age history that paints
a picture of witches as respected beings who can elimate
unhappiness. |
