Introducing two new his-and-her pairs (4-models) that combine MT-G models with G-ms models. The back covers of these 2002 Lover's Collection theme watches are engraved with a design that combines the logo of each watch brand with wings. The MTG-700LV model comes with e-DATA MEMORY for storage of URLs, e-mail addresses, and World Time. The MSG-140LV model features new Magical Illumination. Turning on the LED Backlight randomly displays one of three patterns named: aurora, sunset, and ocean. The lighting color has gradations that make it appear to gradually change color.

The theme of these new "G Presents Lover's Collection" paired watches is "wings", which symbolizes the lighthearted feeling of lovers everywhere who feel as if their hearts have unfurled giant wings of their own. The back cover of each model is engraved with the images of the G logo with spread wings. The band is imprinted with the text "Wing through all eternity", and a polarized pearl finish changes color slightly, depending on the angel from which the watch is viewed. Turning on the backlight of the LOV-02A Devil & Angel models causes the image of a devil (G-SHOCK) or angel (Baby-G) to float on the display, representing the supernatural power of love's attraction. The popular pure white LOV-02B Pegasus models combine a G-SHOCK model with DUPLEX LCD with a Baby-G G-MIX model with music alarm. Turning on the EL backlight causes an image of Pegasus, with great white wings spread wide, to float on the display. The G-SHOCK model also features e-DATA MEMORY, while the Baby-G model has a Day Counter feature.
