Casio to Release a Special Edition Watch to Celebrate Its Partnership with Infiniti Red Bull Racing
New Watch Features Smartphone Connectivity and a Unique Ion Plating Finish on the Bezel

TOKYO, August 26, 2015 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today that it will release the EQB-500RBB as a new special edition watch in the EDIFICE series of metal watches for men to celebrate its partnership with Infiniti Red Bull Racing.
With its youthful image and energy, Infiniti Red Bull Racing strives to make its cars the fastest in the world by leveraging outstanding technology development capabilities. The team pursues intelligent racing strategies aimed at getting winning results. Casio believes that this approach is a perfect match for its EDIFICE brand concept, and has supported the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Team as an official partner since 2009.
Finished in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing car colors of purple, blue, yellow, and red, the new EQB-500RBB is designed to evoke the image of a Formula OneTM race car. This special edition model also features a unique ion plating finish on the bezel. Altogether, the shape and color combination of the watch capture the way light reflects off the various angular parts of a car as it races around the track. Based on the EQB-500D model, the EQB-500RBB also comes with Bluetooth®*1 Smart functions for smartphone connectivity*2, and can automatically adjust the time to the local time. Furthermore, users can easily set the time corresponding to about 300 cities worldwide just by selecting from maps and city lists included in a Casio smartphone app. The face and vibration-resistant structures of the watch features sapphire crystal tough enough to withstand the challenging racing environments where this watch is used.

Along with the EQB-500RBB, Casio is releasing four other models in this new lineup: the EFR-550RB, which includes an inset dial featuring a world map at the 12:00 o'clock position to give it an international look; the EFR-539RB, which features a bold mechanical design; and two EFR-549RB models, both finished with a distinctive blue and purple gradient on the watchface. With an exclusive collector's card included in each package, the products exude premium quality worthy of their special edition status.
